In summer of 2014 I had the privilege of traveling to Bali, Indonesia on what would become one of the most impressive culturally exchanges of my life. I was traveling on tour with the legendary musical group Gamelan Sakar Jaya from Berkeley, California. My fiancé, currently vice president and a member of the musical ensemble traveled to the historic destination of Bali. There, we would discover not only the musical roots of the traditional music, but gain great insight into long-help culturally traditions.
